After seeing a particularly grim example of the damage done to other lifeforms by some of his clients, he resolved to turn his life around. He returned to Cybertron to study ethics, eventually becoming a respected philosopher. He joined the Autobots after the destruction of Crystal City. Highroad

What once was a splendid and grand highway has been shelled and bombed almost to the point of non-recognition. It is so cracked, potholed, and littered with debris that traveling it requires a great deal of coordination and even more concentration, a dangerous distraction when an attack could occur at any moment. The powerful bombs that hit this road so long ago were meant to cut off access to and from the city directly to the south.

Impactor paces back and forth, listening to Fairway's rather eloquent and long speech about components and transistors. Honestly, the Wrecker leader couldn't care less. He just wants a base built underground, he doesn't want to know every square inch, nook and cranny that goes into constructing it. Glancing at Sandstorm and Broadside, Impactor sighs. "Yeah, yeah. Legbone connected to the hipbone and all that ... why don't you start tellin' me what we got instead of giving me an engineerin' lecture?"

Pausing ever so slightly, Impactor looks at his data-pad to gauge the time. Fanfare is long overdue with their orange sheet metal supplies, he's almost a terran minute late. What? The Imp-man runs a tight ship!

Sandstorm cant help but chuckle, "Because, Impactor," He says, "The brainy types want you to know every part of it whether you care or not."
Indeed, the huge flaming-engined ship was just appearing over the horizon, cruising along at mid-speed through the air, the ground shivering around it as he passes by overhead slowly, tilting just enough to show off his side more than his belly as he ponders what sort of landing to do ""Ello Suhs!"

Broadside, oddly enough, is actually /listening/ to Fairway's lecture, and taking mental notes! He gruffs when Impactor butts in, and folds his arms all mechly-like. "Hrnnn. Uh. Yeah. Brainy types, like Scattershot's nerd squad... Heya' Fanfare."

"What we've got," Fairway says, growing the slightest bit impatient, "is a lot of planning to do, not to mention a lot of work. Luckily, we have plentiful materials." He points to his blueprints again, which are tacked up on a cork board. "Now, we can build a lift here, but that wouldn't leave room for the," he vents a sigh, "bar you wanted."

"But bars are important, Fairway." Sandstorm offers as he looks at the blueprints. He understands them to a point but is really only interested in seeing it built not the scribbling beforehand.

Impactor nods. "So what yer sayin' is, we gotta put in stairs so the bar can be kept?" Obviously, he's not too keen on leaving the room out of his new base of operations. A hand goes up to his chin, cradling his face trying to appear deep in thought. Then Fanfare flies in, and his moment of clarity is gone. " 'Bout time, was about ta send out Sandstorm to see what was takin' ya!"

"Possible Enemies in the way. Had tae take a slight detour." The plane rumbles, starting to convert to hover-mode, a huge downdraft forming as he hovers a few hundred meters away, slowly extending his landing gear to land vertically.

Fairway nods, crossing his arms. "Yes, we could put stairs there and keep the bar," he says, looking to his comrades, "though I insist on putting a training room here... where it appears as though someone has requested a 'wave pool'." Brainy types indeed! He frowns a bit, and then turns back to his plans.

Broadside is mainly just concerned about the space inside the base. Should be pleeenty of space. He steps behind Fairway and peers down at the blueprints, unable to make heads or tails of them. "Wave pool... hnnn, wasn't me!"

Sandstorm looks at Broadside and Impactor and shrugs, "I didnt ask for a wave pool...though it would be cool..."

Impactor frowns, Broadside or Topspin are the only Wreckers with an aquatic altmode ... and the wave pool request is far too high for the Jumpstarter to reach. "Right Broad, I'll believe that one." he sighs, looking over to Fanfare's landing. "Well, what are ya waitin' fer mechs? That stuff won't unload itself? Fairway and I got portant stuff to go over!"

Black Bodied CF-130 Super Hercules with Firey Engines slows down his props slowly as he lands now, starting to drop his rear gangplank and the tail even splits up and lifts so that even the tallest of mechs could reach into the cargo bay. Inside, his Autoarm (like the Canadarm) begins to move things towards the entrance.

"Certainly not," Fairway smiles incredulously up at Broadside, "it must have been the other aquatic Wrecker." He pats his hands and steps across to Impactor's side. "I don't mind to help with the unloading," he says, "I've said most of what I have to say..." He fully expected to have to say it again.

Impactor whispers, "Aw, come on Doc ... go over it one more time. It'll give me a reason ta shrug tha work." Straightening up, the Wrecker leader bellows. "What Mr. Brainy meant is youse mechs better run along, he's got some *secret* aspects to discuss wif me!"

Broadside really didn't request it! He hates water! He scoffs and trudges over to help with the heavier materials. "C'mon Sandstorm, grunt work." More glorious sheet metal! ORANGE! Reaching into the cargobay, he takes out stacks and drops them haphazardly near Fairway's little setup.

Black Bodied CF-130 Super Hercules with Firey Engines remains still, as a rather interesting versoin of O Fortuna blasts from his internal speakers.
Sandstorm nods and follows Broadside to help unload the cargo. He carries out armloads of whatever he can grab and dumps it near Broadsides pile, "So how long is this going to take -- building the base?" he asks as he goes back and forth unloading the material.

Fairway vents yet another sigh. "All right," he says, "our main concern is buttressing - load bearing members - reinforcing the walls of this space so that we can actually start to make these plans real." He gestures toward his cork board, which has been considerately blown down by a haphazardly dropped stack of sheet metal.

"Hey, you slackprocessors! Watch where yer stackin' that stuff, you just crushed his display!" Impactor yells, trying to stifle a giggle.

Black Bodied CF-130 Super Hercules with Firey Engines remains quiet at all of this, continuing to hum along to the forboding-sounding chorus line.

"You ain't discussin' anythin', BOSS!" Broadside gripes, hefting some huge, heavy strut out and nearly knocking down Sandstorm with it. "Shouldn't take too long, Sandy."

Sandstorm pauses and looks back with a mock shocked look on his face, "I hope the base is sturdier then the diagram..." he dumps his pile of sheet metal with a clang and walks back to the hercules to grab some more. He looks at Broadside and grins, "Not with us on it it wont be."

The arm continues to assist with the unloading unstacking crates and unstrapping them

"You were sayin' perfessor?" Impactor offers towards Fairway, looking to his crushed corkboard.

Fairway doesn't try to retrieve his corkboard. "We just need more support," he says, "Big beams, lots of metal. I'm worried about a cave in." He's getting a little snippy. He hopes to counteract that with a smile. "But, I'm sure that the plans I've drawn up provide for ample room to install buttressing. We may even be able to keep the pool."

Broadside pulls out the last of the Junkion supplies (bless that planet!) and dusts himself off. He makes a sad attempt to straighten the piles, then shirks the duty off to Sandstorm. "Make the piles look organized so boss don't yell at ya'." ... "Oh for- I don't want the pool! We shouldn't have a pool! I'ma' void my tanks every time I pass th' damn room!"

Impactor nods, trying to act like he understood every single thing Fairway just went over ... again. "Yes, yes. Buttresting is very very important, maybe more important than the bar?" he offers, returning the smiling gesture. Cocking his head to the side, he notices the very unorganized and sloppy piles of materials. While it doesn't make a whole hell of a lot difference, seeing as it'll only get moved shortly underground ... the Wrecker leader doesn't hesitate to discipline his slacking soldiers. "Broadside, Sandstorm ... Front 'n Centah!"

Black Bodied CF-130 Super Hercules with Firey Engines waits until the music finishes, before piping up "All empt. " he notes, closing up the tail and transforming himself to stretch.

Folding down and around, Fanfare transforms from a Black-bodied with hot rod flames on the engines CF-130 Super Hercules into his robot mode.

Sandstorm was all set to walk away when Broad pushed straightening the mess off on him. "I wasnt the --- nevermind." he shoves the piles around halfaft to make them look somewhat more 'organized' and after a few minutes dusts himself off. "There ya go, boss, everythings unloaded."

Broadside moves 'front 'n centah', hands on his hips. "C'mon boss, they's just gonna' end up all scattah'ed again. What's this about buttresses? What's a buttress?"

Sandstorm hears the front and center and hurries up to stand beside Broadside, "Yea what he said, boss." he says pointing a thumb at Broadside but he stands at attention none the less.

Fairway steps to Fanfare's side, still shaking his head at Impactor's mention of 'buttresting'. "Friend Fanfare," he says, "it has been some time! I am happy to see you again. Hopefully you understood some of what I was trying to say to the... illustrious Wrecker leader there." He looks to Broadside. "To buttress, dear friend, means to support or to prop. I'm talking about columns which will hold up the ceiling of the base. Building underground is dangerous business, I assure you. I have done my share of it."

Fanfare smiles as he tips his head to Fairway "Aye, ah ken it. Ye want tae make sure the roof dun collapse." he translates easily.
Fairway says, "Precisely!"

"Ah, a'course!" Broadside palms his fist in realization. He learned a new word today, hot damn!

"That makes no difference Wreckers. If you stack even half as well as you fight, I'm thinkin' we're all in a load of trouble!" Impactor bellows, pointing an extended finger towards Broadside. "Now. Git over there and restack it! I want it to be the most beautimous stack of orange scrap metal these optics have ever seen. Double time!"

Impactor looks at Fairway and sighs, "Triplechangers, am I right?" shrugging his shoulders.

Broadside almost pouts. Almost. "Frag. Dis is yer' fault Sandy," he snorts, and shakes a fist. "Here you take that pile and I'll... take this one over... here." The triplechanger saunters over as if it pick up a stray strut, and abruptly gives Fanfare a playful punch to the shoulder, "Wanna' arm wrassle? Don't be a wimp!"

Fanfare erps as the punch rebounds off his shoulder, pausing. HIs optics flicker "Arm Wrestle? Well uh, perhaps when ye done, a'hm kinda outa practice." he notes with a weak grin.

Fairway stands clear as Broadside punches Fanfare. "Triplechangers indeed," he laughs. He approaches a pile of sheet metal and sets to straightening it, as meticulous as he always is.

"My fault?" Sandstorm stares at the fist, "Is that suppose to scare me?" he starts to straighten a pile and sees Broad and Fanfare talking suddenly, "That doesnt look like stacking to me...." he mutters and works on the stack in front of him.

"Less talkie, more stacky!" Impactor shouts, briskly striding forward and inspecting the new piles taking shape.

Broadside huffs, "Mech, Fort Max won't arm wrestle either! C'mon, what's with all the huge wimps around here? Don't mattah if yer' outta' practice. Bahh fine." He waves Fanfare off and moves to hijack Sandstorm's pile. "Got this one," he insists.

Sandstorm doesnt budge, "Naa I got it, take that one over there." He points and shoves Broadside over to a nearby pile.

Fanfare folds his arms a little defensively, optics dimming as he stares at the ground "... Ah ken later Broadside. Ah promise." he finally amends

Broadside doesn't budge as well, but Sandstorm's nudge is enough to make him sulk off to his own pile. Wreckers can't be bullied! His pile eventually gets organized, and he calls Impactor over to have a look. "Behold!"

"Fanfare," Fairway calls, struggling to lift a particularly large piece of sheet metal, "May I request your assistance? And friend Broadside... perhaps later I shall arm wrestle with you. Is that satisfactory?"

Fanfare looks up finaly at his name, but then turns immediately to walk towards Fairway, crouching to heft the peice up "Where do ye want it?" he asks, happy again

Broadside guffaws a little too loudly, then smiles behind his mouth guard. "Uh, sure Fairway. Yeah."

Fanfare looks over at Broadside, then at Fairway, murmering to him quietly

Surveying the work, Impactor slowly nods. "Alright, they look good ta me. Now, we need to get em underground before a Decepticon patrol notices them. Let's get to it Wreckers!" Walking forward, he picks up a stack of orange sheet metal and moves to the temporary pulley loading system they set up.

Fanfare nods "That make sense." he notes, setting the metal down with the rest now. "Wot next?"

"I'll stay topside, if thas' alrigh'," says Broadside, hefting his pile of supplies after Impactor. "Wouldn't mind if a 'con came along though, we'd sure put a whoopin' on him with the mechs present, yep."

Fairway turns to Impactor now. "Shall we go below, friend? Move these stacks into place? I should like to mark out where I believe we should place the supports. That's really the most important step.

Sandstorm grabs an armload of the stack he just straightened and follows Impactor the pulley loading system they have set up to help get this stuff underground. He looks up into the sky and scans the area, "Let em come."

Sandstorm says, "Any time is a good time to beat on a Decepticon or two..."

Impactor nods, "Okay, okay. Sandstorm, you drew the short end of the stick today. You're gonna have to ride down with tha sheets and make sure they git unloaded proper." Loading up the pulley's platform the rest of the way, he waits by the controls for the orange triplechanger to jump on top.

Sandstorm gives Impactor a glance and then gets onto the platform to ride the load down to unload it. "Lets go." he says when hes ready. The sooner he can get this done, the better.

Whirl walks in from farther down the highway. "Lookout duty has to be the most boring duty known to the Autobots," he complains. "Anything exciting going on over here?"

Fanfare moves to help winch the metal down carefully, humming lightly as he does so.

Broadside sets his load near the platform and waits, idly glancing around. "Whirl, you sunnuvaglitch, c'mere so I can step on ya'!" He attempts to nudge Whirl over with a digit.

Impactor lowers the lever, which in turn starts lowering the platform and Sandstorm down into the chasm's depths. "Just radio us when you're good to go lil buddy!" he notes, glancing at Whirl's sudden arrival. "You twisted one eyed Wreckin' masheen, where ya been?"

Whirl accepts the nudging good-naturedly. To Impactor he shrugs. "Oh, you know, the usual. Monitor duty, lookout duty, aerial overwatch duty..." he trails off, interest captured by the platform and the disappearing Sandstorm. "Oh yeah...sending Sandstorm in first, to do some reconnoitering?"

"Whirl," says Fairway cheerfully as he stands near the egress holding a stack of sheet metal. "I don't believe we've met." He turns to watch as Sandstorm descends, thinking it a bit unfair to send only one down first. "I'm Fairway, engineer."

Fanfare giggles suddenly, grinning at Whirl as he whispers, so only those on the surface hear it "... Fishin!"

"Fishing, huh?" Whirl repeats. He peeks in after Sandstorm, then shrugs. "So that makes him the bait, and what, us the crab pot?" Looks like someone's been introduced to archived episodes of the Deadliest Catch. "Well, if it helps with the excavation efforts down there, I'm all for it..."

Impactor shakes his head. "Nah, were just gettin' this stuff underground ... so any Decepticon patrols don't see it, 'n put two and two together ... you catch my drift Whirl?"

Sandstorm rides the platform to the bottom then hopes off to unload the sheet metal. He glances around as he does so and takes a visual scan of the area but sees nothing but an unbuilt bass so to speak. Shortly he unloads the last of the sheet metal and then steps back on the platform. "Alright, bring me up." Sandstorm says as he tugs on the cable.

Broadside feels that has done enough work! And moves off a bit to recline on his flight deck and doze until someone prods him. "Take my pile down, Whirl," he gruffs.

Fairway stands, awkward, shifting his weight from foot to foot. He crosses to the opposite side of the egress and leans over to see if he can see Sandstorm. "The coast is clear, friend?"

Impactor knocks the lever up and the pulley starts lifting the platform topside. "Copy Sandstorm, bringin' ya up now."

Whirl nods uncertainly at Broadside. "Uh, sure..." he looks around and hopes that someone will tell him what he's supposed to do, or else that he can fake it convincingly.

Sandstorm comes up to the surface and once the platform is stopped he steps off and nods at Whirl, "Hey there." he says and then wonders if hes going to be the one taking it all down.

Fairway is eager to get underground. "Well done, Sandstorm," he says, "I assure you that I shall participate fully in this build." He moves to stand on the platform. "I can take these sheets down," he says to Impactor, "and then stay below to make my marks if that is acceptable, friend."

"Certainly. Load 'er up mechs!" Impactor grins, giving Fairway a corny thumbs up pose.

Broadside starts humming the tune to whatever Fanfare was playing earlier, continuing to loaf about.

Fanfare looks to Impactor then, leaning agianst the Winch a bit "Ah'll ready." he states, then looks at Broadside, flashing a grin

"Brace yerself." Impactor warns, hitting the lever once again. The platform lowers into the depths of the chasm, swallowing up Fairway. Turning to look at Broadside, "Whatchya think yer doin! Git off yer aft and help out over 'ere!" What exactly the behemoth is supposed to assist with, is unclear.

Fanfare assists Impactor with the wench though, ensuring the cables went down smoothly without twisting or swinging too much.

Broadside finally rocks up and gets to his feet, stomping on over to loom. "A'ight a'ight, guess I'll... stand guard!" The big mech turns and looks diligently to the sky. He makes a invisible rifle with his hands and 'shoots' down the stars that were appearing.

Whirl looks at Broadside, then up at the sky. "You know chief, if you really want to keep a low profile...I dunno if we should all be standing out in the open like this. I wonder if we can move this whole operation underground?" He edges towards the opening eagerly.

Fanfare hums somewhat as he works, some strange tune as he works, the cables still lowering down, oblivious to the world around him now as the blades on his back give a spin.

"Can't right now, I've got a /strategic/ planning meeting with Grimlock in five. Right now I just wanna assure that this mess gits picked up. Speakin' of which, start gettin' that scrap metal ready to cover this hole." Impactor gruffs, looking around him. "The rest of ya, fan out and make sure our tracks are covered."

Fairway is now in the throat of the egress. He looks left and right, scans the floor below him. With his combat visor lowered, he can see and record the mineralogical structure of the rock in this cavern. This shall be a suitable place for a base... it was indeed a stroke of luck to have found it.

Sandstorm is busy getting the piles of material stacked over to be loaded on the platform. From time to time he looks around just to make sure they arent being discovered. He hears Impactors words and puts the last of the sheet metal on the new pile and then sets about getting rid of any sign they were there.

Broadside does as he's told and heads off to the north, scoping out the area. Oddly enough they were pretty discreet.

Wreckers discreet, who woulda thunk it?

Whirl moves out to the south, covering the opposite side from Broadside.

Sandstorm heads off to the west and starts taking care of any sign they were there.

Impactor hits the lever, bringing the platform and Fairway back to the surface. "Okay Wreckers, I've got to git a move on. Make one last sweep of the premises and make sure to take down the wench before departing." With that said, the Wrecker Leader stalks off towards Iahex and his meeting with Grimlock. He idly wonders if they'll be talking about punching rocks or LAZORing rocks today.

Windshear walks in, well, struts in, and looks around. "So, you wanna learn how to pilot one of these things eh, Harrow?" he rasps in his so deep gen. grievous tone. He has a smirk on his face but underneath that bravado he's scared ... teaching someone how to pilot something like this can a lot of times end up in pain....

"Uh huh!" Harrow has already taken over the pilot's seat despite not having the slightest knowledge of simply turning the thing on... But she does recognize a radio switch and cranks up some music. "Oh wait, you like that super dark death emo stuff, don't you, here let me find your station..." She seeks to some hardcore rock and grins. "Phase one, complete!"

Windshear walks up and wishes he had a *tf* cigarette right about now (yes they are out there in TF land). He stands by the pilot's chair and looks at her, "Yes the music is supreme, but we won't need it for my instructions -- I want you to be able to hear me." He reaches over and cuts off the radio and ponders trying to get her out of the chair or not. Finally he decides to take the copilot's chair and he sits down heavily. "I show you this, you must show me something in return, Harrow."

Harrow anxiously grips the steering console and looks over, arching an optic ridge. "Hmm, what did you have in mind?"

Windshear chuckles in spite of himself, then gets serious, "I want to learn your scalpel technique to incorporate with my blade technique. I show you how to pilot a shuttle, you show me your scalpel technique."

"Ahh, sure thing Breezy," Harrow smirks, pride swelling, "Didn't think you were a fan of my style. Flattering! Yeah, just lemme' know when you'd like to train. C'mon, let's take this baby out!"

Windshear was afraid she'd push them for take off. He leans forward and points out to a set of levers and begins instructing her on them. "First you have to do preflight checks -- did you walk around the shuttle and do a visual inspection of it before you entered?" he pauses and looks at her.

Harrow drums her lips, pondering. "Looked okay when I saw it. What would I look for, asteroid chunks or something?"

Windshear stops on the preflight check before he even started and replies, "You need to walk around the shuttle, inspect the aerilons, rudders, landing gear etc. -- you have to make sure everything is ok. The last thing you want to do is get in here and take off and find out the hard way joebot smashed a container into your left pylon as you try to use it. It is standard procedure for the pilot to check out their aircraft, spececraft in this case before they board and power up."

"Hrrnn okay okay okay, here I go," Harrow gets up from the pilot's seat, hops out of the hatch and does a fairly quick check of the outermost kibble. The ailerons appeared to be functioning properly, nothing was obstructing the thrusters, and the landing gear looked clear. Harrow gives a thumbs up to the windshield, and jogs back up the ramp. "Looks okay from the outside. Did you want to take us up, and I'll watch?"

Windshear watches her and smirks, "In the future do a slower check but yes, everything is ok -- I already checked." He sets about the preflight check again and he does it slowly and explains everything hes doing to Harrow as she's watching. Well he hopes she's watching.

Harrow is watching! Really! She takes note of everything, logging away his notes and methods. "Okay, got it." Moving to sit in the copilot seat, she cranks up the radio just a teeny bit, and waits for Windy to work his magic.

Windshear double-checks the fuel gauge, "Always make sure you have enough fuel. Make sure to check your reserves -- the tanks should be full, even if its a short trip I feel its best to have enough fuel for something twice as far then to be stranded. Always checked the computer systems and check the last time they've been defragged and updated. This is very important. Lastly make sure your Autopilot and charts are up to date and functional. You never know when something could happen and you need the autopilot to get you back to base....." he goes on and on and on as he flips through switches, checks dial readings, various gauges and indicators and then with the push of a button the engines suddenly come to life with a rumble. And also periodically through this he's been back and forth with the control tower.

Harrow interjects with a question here and there, optics on Windshear's hands as they move over the consoles and switches. There was a lot to remember, so Harrow glanced at her own console and went through the motions to memorize, without actually hitting any buttons.

Windshear grabs the throttle and after clearance from the control tower per se, he lifts off and into the sky. "Watch what Im doing now, Harrow, watch the gauges and look out of the viewscreen." Right, he's asking her to do three different things at once here.

Harrow does as instructed... somewhat, looking back and forth between the gauges and viewscreen. "Right! ...Alright, pretty sure I'm clear on lifting off, can I steer yet?" Oh please!

Windshear looks at her for a long moment and then makes sure she understands the sensitivity of the wheel so to speak and how the throttle and the steering mechanisms work together, "You can take over from the seat next to me but if you get in over your head I can take it back from here." And almost reluctantly he hands over the controls to the other Seeker.

Harrow gives another valiant thumbs up to Windshear and smirks, "Slag, don't look so worried! I'm not gonna' drive us into a /moon/ or something." Taking the controls, she pulls the shuttle into a steady climb to pull out of the Earth's atmosphere.

Windshear watches her hands and looks at the gauges in front of him, "Watch your degree of climb, too much without increasing thrust and we will stall," he says.

Windshear adds dryly, "And watch out for the two bot cruisers loafing about here at this level...."

"I'm watchin' I'm watchin'," Harrow glances back and forth between the viewscreen and the blips on the radar. "What, not having fun?" she asks coyly, regarding the dryness in his tone. "I'm not doin' half bad, yeah?" She abruptly yanks the wheel into a steeper climb and pulls on the throttle.

"Watch it!!" Windshear rasps as hes planted back in his seat, "Ok...uhhh.. you aren't doing too bad but this isn't a walk in the park either! This is not like your body in jet mode -- I mean there are similarities but its not at the same time..." Ok hes rambling...wonder why..

Harrow laughs, "Sorry. Yeah, it's not the same. Hey you ain't gonna' void your tanks are you? C'mon Mr. Tolerance! Hey, should I head for a planet and try a landing?"

Windshear's optics widen at the thought of her landing right now, "Nono, that's ok... we should just practice flying for now -- look out for that bot cruiser to your port!" he pauses a beat and adds, "No, I won't void my tanks.. takes a lot to get me to surge, this won't do it... least so far..." he finishes that last part in a whisper.

"Hey... hey! Let's do some stunts, like the ones you do! I'm sure this thing can pull it off." The 'bot cruiser goes unnoticed for now as Harrow yanks the wheel once more and pulls the shuttle into a barrel roll. "Yeehaw!"

Windshear gets tumbled straight out of his seat with much metal clanging to the floor. He scrambles for the controls and hits the override and then wrestles the shuttle back level. Then he sees the bot cruiser; Steelhaven and does a hard bank to the right to avoid it. Finally he manages to sits back in his seat (he was doing all the other stuff just now on his knees). "..Harrow!" he breaths, "Not cool! You don't know enough yet to even dare do anything like that!" He's trying to yell but with what voice he has left after it was shot out that's not easy and pretty much fails, "IF this shuttle gets damaged I'm dead!"

Harrow frowns when the controls are taken away from her. "Aww... hmph." She leans back in the seat and folds her arms. "I pulled it off, didn't I? We haven't died yet... Perhaps we should move /away/ from the Autobot cruiser."

Windshear studies her for a moment, then pulls off from the Autobot shuttles. Once done and leveled out he flips a switch and motions to her, "There you go but do not do a barrel roll. Just fly and practice smooth turns."

"Smooth turns, no problem." Harrow takes the controls and does, in fact, turn the shuttle without hurling Windshear into the hull. "Very lovely, huh?" she remarks, referring to the gaseous giants in orbit.

Windshear hasn't been paying attention to anything that might be considered 'lovely' through this whole ordeal. He glances at the planet and cringes inside. "Yes, don't get too close..."

It appears to be smooth sailing from here on out. Harrow keeps her distance and simply flies in a wide circle, no destination set yet. "What should I do next?"

Windshear says "Check your fuel..." he skims the gauges and everything looks in order, he knows exactly how much they have but he's wanting to see if shes remembering to do all this stuff.

Harrow peers down at the console and tries to follow Windshear's gaze. Her optics fall on a temperature gauge, and she almost points to it, then changes her mind and points to the larger meter. "We're ... in the green! I think. Right?"

Windshear looks at Harrow and just chuckles, "I think I need to download the data files to you on this.. that's the temperature gauge not the fuel gauge..."

"Ah! Yes. That would be very helpful. Alright, you take the controls, and do a stunt!" insists Harrow, leaning back.

Windshear looks at her and resumed control of the shuttle, "Space shuttles aren't exactly for doing 'stunts', Harrow though there are some evasive maneuvers one should know but you aren't ready for that." He banks the shuttle back toward Earth and then tips on its side and guns it then drops down somewhat and levals back out. "There, that's a simple one -- used to evade laser blasts.. it works.." he looks at the readings on the control panel, "We should head back... we have been out here for awhile."

Laboratory

Lab equipment fills this room: equipment hanging from the ceiling, sitting on benches, lining the walls, and on the table in the middle. Also on the table is a terminal connected to the main computer of Iahex. Assorted projects lie scattered about amongst tools and other miscellaneous objects unidentifiable objects.

In the middle of the the Iahex Laboratory is a large holographic generator. Floating above the generator is a three dimensional representation of a large satellite. Coming off the sides of the spherical main body are 2 large solar panels to absorb the power of the new suns of Cybertron. Around the room are various materials that have been collected and sorted around the walls; included in the materials is some radar-absorbing paint. Obviously, this satellite will be harder to find than one would expect.

Jetfire's chin rests in his right hand as he looks over the plans. Behind him is the sphere of the shell, opened into halves. It appears the Air Guardian has begun some of the building himself; but, he has more work to do. He seems to talk to himself as he says, "The microwave transmitter is going to be a tight fit with the battery..."

Apocryphacius hasn't been to Iahex before, though he's been to the Orion Pax and Metroplex. To be honest... Iahex creeps Apocryphacius out. But anything involving Transformers usually does. But Autobots are at least allies of the EDC, so Apocryphacius has put in a happy face (literally) and is trying not to show how scared he is. Staring at the satellite diagram at least gives him a focus. Right now, he's looking for the heat sinks.
Rodimus Prime strides into the room. "Sorry I'm late," he says, tone more professional than apologetic. He stops as he catches sight of the hologram. "So is this the satellite?" he asks, moving forward. At this point, he spies that there's a Quintesson between him and the hologram. "Oh, excuse me, Paco," he says, moving around Apocryphacius.

Reidan Wesley is here as well, as the only available EDC member to report back and ensure everything goes smoothly, and help Apocryphacius with any problems h may have. Standing on a platform at table height to watch, he leans as he listens, waving to Prime as he doffs an invisible hat. Then he peers to Jetfire " Not enough room?"

Looking over his shoulder at Rodimus Prime, Jetfire nods at the leader and replies, "Affirmative. The design is extremely tight; but, it should be fairly hard for the Decepticons to detect it. Its small, the panels will fold up to reduce its signature, AND I managed to secure radar-absorbing paint. It should be hard for them to find." Jetfire turns his attention back to the hologram and adds, "The only time its going to be obvious is when its using its microwave emitter to transmit power down to Iahex. The radiation signature will be quite high during that time. But its safer than having someone go up and switch out batteries, which would be even more obvious. I'm hoping that maybe the Decepticons will assume its solar flaring or something else."

He looks over at Reidan Wesley and Apocryphacius and says, "No, Mister Wesley. It will all fit, its just a bit tight for me to work with." Jetfire open his hands and shows his palms. "Perhaps you or Apocryphacius can assist due to that. Rodimus, I believe your technical skills are adequate to finish building the solar panels." The large autobot points at the two half completed panels by the wall. "Either Mister Wesley or Apocryphacius can assist while I assist on the main portion."

Apocryphacius does not really know Reidan Wesley, but it helpful to have an EDC human around, in case anyone has any questions. Then Apocryphacius can just point and say he's with him. Makes life so much simpler. He twitches a bit Rodimus Prime dodges around him, but he salutes the leader of the allies of the EDC. It is as protocol requires. He answers Jetfire coolly, "I do believe I can accomplish such a task." Unsaid is 'simple'.

Rodimus Prime nods as he considers this. "So how often will the power transmit happen? What happens if the thing becomes overcharged?" He looks over at the solar panels he's been assigned to, then approaches them and crouches down. He leans over towards a nearby tool box and opens it up to begin riffling through it.

"The satellite collects energy over a long period of time. It does take time to collect it." Jetfire explains calmly. "The battery will hold the power until the orbit takes it back over Iahex; at which point, the satellite will transmit the power down to a receiver here at Iahex." Jetfire moves out of the way, bows slightly towards the Quintesson and waves towards the core of the satellite. He continues answering questions, "The satellite will come into range for transmission every 48 hours. And the computer system is designed to close the panels once it hits 90% of battery capacity." Jetfire pauses slightly. "Overcharging this system would be bad. Pinpointer helped design the array using some Nebulan technology and the silia material will shatter if the battery cannot accept the power. The panels will break; but, the battery will not explode."

Reidan Wesley scratches his head 'Hmm. Makes sense." he nods in agreement, dusting his hands off, looking at Rodimus, then Apocryphacius "Which do you want to assist you, sir?" he asks, now to Prime.

Apocryphacius points out, "Also, the satellite requires power to run even when it is not recieving solar radiation. Batteries are useful at such times." He's still concerned by the heat dissipators - those are critical for any system with a battery and extra critical in space, where there is no air to more easily disperse heat. However, he withdraws his toolkit, and he directs Reidan, "If you could pass me tools when I issue the request?"

"Is there any way to make the discharge less... predictable than that?" Rodimus asks Jetfire as he continues to rifle through his tools. "If it happens so regularly, sooner or later, the 'Cons are going to catch on." He looks up at Wesley, then up at Apocryphacius, then nods. "That sounds good. This is pretty basic level stuff I'm on." He smirks. "Even I should be able to handle it without a problem."

The white Air Guardian looks at Rodimus, "The system won't always discharge the power reserves on every pass. The orbit I've selected is the best one that frequently passes over Iahex and also absorbs a decent amount of power." Jetfire walks over to Rodimus Prime and points at the laser welder in the other tool rack. "Be careful with these Rodimus... I was hoping Pinpointer was going to be available to assist in building the panels since they are his material; however, he is unavailable." Jetfire looks at the silica prepped for making the solar panels. "Too much heat can cause them to shatter..."

"Indeed, sir! As they say: Its not rocket surgery!" Reidan notes, rubbing his hands together as he follows to Apocryphacius' side, peering into the toolbox to see what was where and how heavy they would be to lift.

"Oh!" Rodimus replies, giving the solar panels a closer look. "Thanks for the heads up, then." He frowns and considers the matter. "Well, wait a minute. If they're that fragile, I mean... how often are we going to need to be going up and repairing these things?"

Apocryphacius pauses a moment, peering at Reidan with his nearest face. Then, he whispers, "The expression is, I believe, either 'not brain surgery' or, perhaps, 'not rocket science'. This, however, /is/ rocket science, to be crude." More loudly, he comments, "Things that are fragile on the ground are often perfectly serviceable in space, sir." He picks through his toolkit, setting out several tools on a tray.

You say, "Physically they are durable... high levels of energy quickly introduced into them causes them to shatter." Jetfire shakes his head. "I realize they aren't like most solar panels; but, they are much more efficient in terms of energy absorbation."

A small side door suddenly opens, and out walks Perceptor! He pauses as the door slides shut behind him (the door features a tiny faded label that says 'Supplies'). Perceptor takes a few steps into the room and looks around, nodding jovially. "I thought I heard voices out here!" he exclaims, looking around at the various people present. He pauses when his gaze falls on Rodimus. "Er...I'm sorry, have I missed something?" In Perceptor's experience, Autobot commanders in the lab usually means Something Serious.

Eyeing the face, Reidan scratches his head, then shrugs "If you say so. I'm sure it was that to begin with though. " he leans on the side of the toolkit, waiting for them to begin. He waves to Perceptor

"Yeah, but *our* space has a pretty full orbit, Paco, what with all the leftovers of Unicron and giant-Galvatron and everything else," Rodimus points out. Seriously. Cybertron's orbit is probably more littered than Earth's! He looks up at Jetfire, then nods. "Ah, all right. So it's the heat that's an issue, rather than anything else." Then he grins up at Perceptor. Oddly, Rodimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, appears to be about to engage in some menial labor involving the construction of a solar panel.

"Hey, Perceptor. Nothing major - we're just putting together that solar-collector satellite that Jetfire's been working on. I mostly just came to check in on how the project's going, but since I'm here, I figured I might as well lend a hand!"

Jetfire smiles at Rodimus, "I'm counting on all of that debris helping hide our satellite."

Apocryphacius looks ready to hide behind Reidan when another Autobot enters. Given that Reidan is smaller than Apocryphacius, this is a quite illogical move. But he shakes himself, and he has to correct, "You do realise, that there are those on Earth, solely devoted to tracking space junk? It is not as if we are lacking in that department."

Perceptor smiles agreeably. "Oh! Yes yes, the solar-collector satellite." He produces a small datapad and thumbs through various screens. "Ah, I seem to have misplaced the details about that project. But it sounds like marvelous idea!" He examines the hologram and then runs an optic over the materials present, trying to familiarize himself with the project. "I'd be happy to help in any way that I can."

Rodimus Prime pulls out one of the welders and sets it on a low setting. Then, very carefully, he begins to tack the solar panel together. "We've got enough larger pieces up there to launch it from up there. Is there a way to make it look like... a piece of wreckage broken off from one of the larger pieces?"

Reidan Wesley hums as he sates to Rodimus, looking at the Quintession, lifting an eyebrow before giving his somewhat-drugged-looking, lazy smile "Well, we could ding it up a little bit, the outer chassis perhaps... "

"Unfortunately, I wanted it to be as small as possible. If they actually see it, its likely going to be over anyways." Jetfire walks over beside Rodimus Prime and reaches out and helps hold the panel steady as Rodimus continues his work. "Very nice bead, Rodimus." Jetfire smiles as he complements his leader's welding touch.
Perceptor follows Jetfire over, nodding in agreement after briefly examining Rodimus' work. Then he drifts over to the hologram again, looking up at it while rubbing his chin in thought. "It should provide excellent data on Decepticon's sensor and detection capabilities." After a bit he adds, "And perhaps even their reaction times and updated information on their destructive ability."

Jetfire frowns at Perceptor's comment. "I'd rather not have it found and captured." Jetfire looks over the EDC personal as they work on the core. "Is there anything I can do to help you two?" Jetfire doesn't move as Rodimus continues welding.

Rodimus Prime glances up at Jetfire and Perceptor for a moment. "Thanks, Jetfire." It's always a little disconcerting to have your 'boss' looking over your shoulder. Granted, Rodimus is actually the boss here, but it is, after all, Jetfire's project. "Try to get it out during a blind moment, maybe," he says, tone halfway between question and suggestions. He finishes tacking the device, then nods towards Jetfire. "You can let go, now."

Apocryphacius directs, "Mr. Wesley, the ultra fine-tipped soldering iron, please." Detail work. Apocryphacius can do that. "We shall leave the aesthetics to Jefire." He looks at Jetfire with one face thoughtfully, and he replies evenly, "Not as of now."

Reidan Wesley straightens instantly, leaning into the kit to carefully lift up the (for him) large soldering iron. He checks the battery life before walking to the Quintessons' side, hefting it on one shoulder like a rifle, before tilting it hilt-first to the alien.

Reidan Wesley says, "One ultra fine tipped soldering iron!"

Apocryphacius is not as big as most Transformers, but yes, his tools would be big for a human. he accept the tool and murmurs, "Thank you, Mr. Wesley." He flicks on the switch on and waits for the temperature to equilibrate before asking, "And the solder reel?"

Perceptor hesitates, then nods at Jetfire. "Yes, yes of course. I suppose avoiding discovery altogether would be the best outcome." He looks just a bit disappointed that he won't get his chance examine the destroyed satellite's remnants. "Well, perhaps our colleagues from the Intelligence division can give us some assistance with that..."

Reidan Wesley turns to pull out the reel, rlling it towars APoth before hefting it up - easily handling it despite his lithe frame "Solder Reel!" he carefully pulls a little out to make it easier to grab, balancing the reel on one hand like a plate of silver spagetti

Rodimus Prime starts to weld the full panel on, being careful to avoid applying too much heat. "I'll talk to Jazz," he tells Perceptor, "although it'll kind of have to be low priority for the moment, until we get that situation in Africa resolved."

Jetfire steps away as Rodimus finishes the weld. "That Africa situation isn't good. I did some research and there is a large number of weapons the Decepticons could load into those Weteyes." Jetfire moves over and looks down at the work being done by Apocryphacius. The large Autobot looks down and watches patiently.

Rodimus Prime nods as he finishes the solar panel he'd been working on, stepping away to check his work from a different angle. "'Not good' is an understatement, but while the weapons are a problem, I'm a *lot* more worried about what they're doing to the whole region. Africa's been hard enough hit by the 'Cons as it is."

Apocryphacius takes the solder from Wesley. He is following Jetfire's plans to a T, though he sometimes pauses to consider a certain choice, trying to puzzle out why the Autobot designed the core as he did. He asks, "Hmm. Mr. Wesley. The circuit probe?"

Seeing the Quintesson seeming to pause, the developer of the satellite peers questionally. He calmly asks, "Is there something wrong with the design, Apocryphacius? You seem concerned about something." Jetfire looks over the hologram and attempts to see if he missed something.

"Righto!" turning about, the cook rustles around, pulling out a few items before finding it and pulls it out "Chicken Pesto! Errr, sorry. I was thinking of lunch."

Apocryphacius is really just having trouble finding the heat sinks, because he is having a case of the stupid today. He mutters, "What? No, nothing is wrong. That I can see." Circuit probe. Have to check these lines, make sure they are up to spec. Again, he says, "Thank you, Mr. Wesley."

Rodimus Prime glances over at the others, and smiles faintly about the 'Chicken Pesto.' "I'm *sure* we've got some human food stocked around here. Have we not been feeding you, Red?" he asks before kneeling next to the second panel, kneels, and begins to start with the tacking once more.

Reidan Wesley tosses a casual salute. THen he looks to PRime and grins "I prefer making my own food, and its not often you guys stock what I prefer to make myself. But I did plan a head and packed a lunch. " a pause "Wait, chicken pesto? I can't eat that... okay, I guess I'll seee what is in your fridge, sir."

Nodding towards Apocryphacius, Jetfire speaks again, "I appreciate the concern for being precise. This satellite could open up the blockade the Decepticons have on us here on Cybertron AND might even begin to revitalize the planet back to how it used to be." Jetfire pauses as he sees Rodimus working alone, "Prime, be careful... I only have enough silica for 3 panels." The plans on the hologram call for 2.

JUST as Jetfire is giving his warning, Rodimus looks up - and in that moment of distraction, applies too much heat to the solar panel, which shatters!

Rodimus cringes and covers his face with his right hand. "Oh, Primus..." He looks up, apologetic, and sighs. "Well, uhm... looks like you're going to have to put the silica for that third panel to use, although I think... maybe someone else should put it together." He looks down and nudges the pieces with his foot.

"Any chance we can recover any of the parts from this one?"

Jetfire cringes as soon as he hears the crack. Typical Rodimus, thinks Jetfire. "Perceptor, do you wish to do it? Or shall I?" Jetfire kneels down and looks at the solar panel and considers his options. "I should be able to use a solvent to break it down again and make it into the basic materials... and then reconstruct the panels from there." Jetfire doesn't seem too concerned.

Blades arrives from Eastern Iahex to the west.

Blades has arrived.

Perceptor hurries over to Rodimus' work area. "Certainly!" He examines the remains of the ruined panel and then nods sympatheticly. "Yes, I believe it can be salvaged," he assures Rodimus, moving over to collect the remaining silica and brings it over, preparing to continue the work.

Perceptor transforms, let the Science begin!

Apocryphacius also winces at the crack. But his soldering doesn't waver, as he continues along with the work on the core. He aks Reidan, idly, "I do not suppose you have ever experimented with extraterrestrial cooking."

Rodimus Prime offers everyone a sheepish smile. "Good, good." He steps away from the work area, carefully putting away the tools - but at least he remembers to turn off the welder first! "I'll just, uhm... get out of the way here."

From his still kneeling position, Jetfire perks an eyebrow and asks with a great amount of curiousity, "What do Quintessons eat?"

"What do Quintessons eat?" Perceptor asks at almost the same time.

Reidan Wesley hmms "well, I nearly cooked a blue squirrel while on Nebulos. Does that count?" he asks as he starts cleaning up the mess a little, pushing a shard against another shard in a pile. "I've been experimenting though for the Nebulons, to make them feel more at home. Did you have anything in particular you like?"

Apocryphacius rattles off, "Ultra-refined energon, nutrient cubes, and... the occasional seafood." He smiles, which is mostly fangs. "Of course, I cannot speak for most of my brethren. I have little to do with them." His faces spin a little bit left and right, as if he was shaking his head, though he doesn't have a proper head. "Not in particular. I was simply curious."

Reidan Wesley hums "the first one I dont usually deal with. I could probably find something for the second. And the third well, I will definitely have to cook something up! But not here. I dont have my kitchen."

Jetfire blinks and isn't sure if Apocryphacius was making a joke about the seafood. Although, considering the Sharkticons and their preference for large bodies of water on their planets, it shouldn't be too surprising. "Interesting, I didn't realize that Quintessons actually could sustain themselves on organic matter. Very interesting." Jetfire pulls out his datapad and begins typing this information in... is he being rude? He doesn't know and appears not to care if he is.

The laboratory doors slides open as it allows the latest arrivee entrance into the room who happens to be Blades. Sadly this time this isn't another genius-level intellect scientist arriving to help get things done quicker, just a plain grunt looking to see if he can lend a helping hand from the looks of it. "Eh, you guys wouldn't happen to be needing any help with manual labour?" The Protectobot asks the occupants of the room, with no one in particular in mind.

Perceptor's lens tube moves back and forth a few degrees at a time, occasionally emitting a pinpoint burst of heat. "We also have little to do with your kind," Perceptor adds, apparently just as clueless about basic social niceties. "That's why it's so interesting to have a chance to talk to one. Perhaps you'd submit to a physical examination...'Paco'?" Perceptor calculates that by using the familiar pseudonym he should make his subject more at ease. Then his lens emits another searingly bright beam of heat.

"Well, I'll go make sure we've got some of that in for you, Paco," Rodimus tells the group, moving away from the corner he had sent himself to. "I'm pretty sure we've got seafood and energon, at least!" He offers everyone a wave. "Good work, guys. Sorry for, erm... sorry for the mess." As he leaves, he pauses by the newly arriving Blades, leans in towards the Protectobot, and murmurs, "Whatever you do, I suggest staying away from the solar panels!"
Apocryphacius would not consider Jetfire rude for taking notes. Just attentive to detail, perhaps, which is no sin. He comments, "I am partially organic. I do not see why it would be illogical to ingest organic matter." Long, long ago, Quintesson were all organic! But they added progressively more mechnical bits as time went on. Apocryphacius again considers hiding behind Reidan as Blades arrives. He makes an odd face at Perceptor at the suggestion of an examination, and he states clearly, "My name is Apocryphacius. Some lifeforms find it unacceptably long and thereby shorten it."

Finishing off his notes, Jetfire pauses. "I realize this, Apocryphacius... but Quintessons have never been forthcoming with information on themselves. And I've always assumed your inorganic parts just provided the energy needed for the organic portions." He carefully puts away his datapad and looks at Blades, sizing up the Protectobot. "And Apocryphacius, relax. Blades will not attack you." Jetfire believes this; but who knows with the Protectopunk.
Reidan Wesley blinks as he's stuck between a squid and a hard aft, but he seems perfectly relaxed as he asks "Sir..." he nods to Apoc "Anything else we need to do?

"Eh, what you saying, boss? Them techies already got their quota of disasters filled for the night already?" The Protectobot asks in a half joking manner, before studying the expressions of the occupants in the room more carefully, trying to read if there's any signs of irritation worn on their faces. Blades eyes Apocryphacius a bit longer than the other occupants in the room in particular, showing some signs of concern in the corner of his optics.

"Eeesh, yeah. What the big fellah over there said." The Protectobot folds his arms across his chest, "I figure security would be all over your ass if you were hostile, let working with ol' Jets on this project of his." For all the usual doctrine Protectobot open mindness that Blades is demonstrating at the moment, it is still obvious he's a bit on edge seeing a Quintesson. "Eh, anyways, just so I don't derail this any further. You folks need any heavy lifting help?"

Dropping his armored faceplate into position, Jetfire begins welding the last silica panel into the arm frame that will hold it in position. "Blades, once i finish welding this you can hold it into place while I begin welding the arm to the body of the satellite." Jetfire slowly performs the weld... making sure not to overheat the sensitive material or make a weak point in the weld bead.

"Yeah, I've already given them plenty of practice in the damage control area," Rodimus answers Blades a bit sheepishly just before he steps out. He turns and gives everyone a light, casual mock-salute, still smiling, and then ducks out of the room.

Rodimus Prime has left.

Apocryphacius is a bit disturbed that Rodimus Prime is going to go check and make sure that the Autobots have things to feed him! At least Blades isn't going to kill him. He observes, "Energy is one thing, but energy is rather difficult to convert into matter, and dividing cells do need more material to grow." He looks over the core andgestures for Jetfire to check his work, before he answers Reidan.

Reidan Wesley watches as Rodimus leaves, looking then to Apoc again as he nods, waiting in anticipation, eyeing Blades once more "Well, eventually I will need a lift to the floor, thogh admittedly I'm not as heavy as I dont look."

Perceptor also checks over the work of the others, not subtle in the least since his giant telescope tube has to swing around in various directions to do so. But hopefully his enthusiasm makes up for it. "I think things are proceeding wonderfully, Jetfire! I can't wait to see the results of our efforts here!"

Blades nods in acknowledgement, "Sounds easy enough, just the way I like it." As the last parts of the silica panels are welded into place, the Protectobot goes ahead and secures the panel in position as instructed earlier.
Finishing off the welding bead, Jetfire helps guide the panel over to the core. "Perceptor, can you double check their work." Jetfire looks at the two EDC members and adds, "I trust their work; but, I don't want to have to bring this thing back after I put it into orbit." Jetfire increases the heat of the welding unit and begins to weld the arm to the core system of the satellite.

Reidan Wesley grins as he thumbs up "Always taste test before downing the wine, always say."

Perceptor's lens tube swings back again to point at the areas Apocryphacius and Reidan worked on. "Of course Jetfire," he agrees. His lens swivels back and forth a bit, then the fine control knob click a few degrees first in one direction, then in the other. "Perfect!" he proclaims. "Well within acceptable tolerances. Excellent work, both of you!" He transforms and then walks over to stand next to Jetfire again, examining the hologram once more.

Reidan Wesley salutes Perceptor "Not bad for a newbie rocket surgeon eh?" he grins widely.

"Good." Jetfire comments as he finishes his weld. "Just put the top of the case on it and then I'll take it into orbit."

Apocryphacius attempts to pick Reidan up and gently set him on the floor, since Perceptor has pronounced the core to be adequate. He demurs, "You flatter me."

Reidan Wesley tenses, but allows himself to be pickd up and put down, tipping his invisible hat again "Muchas gracias, amigas. " he states

Jetfire pulls up his faceplate to reveal the human looking face. "Thank you all for your help. Hopefully, this will help with our fight against the Decepticons... at least, it will help keep Iahe powered." Jetfire reaches up and carefully places the top piece of the satellite on top of the bottom. Carefully turning it, the case locks into place. "And done." Jetfire smiles as he looks over the people who assisted in the construction. "Again, you have my thanks."

Perceptor transforms into robot mode.

Perceptor nods happily. "Any time, Jetfire. I always welcome the chance to work with others in the lab." He heads back towards the door he emerged from, waving to Reidan, Apocryphacius and Blades as he goes, with a little personalized farewell to each of them. For Reidan. "Good luck with that Quintesson cooking." To Apocryphacius, somewhat hurried. "Er, not cooking OF Quintesson, per say, but rather cooking FOR." To Blades. "Ah...Blades, can you perhaps explain what I mean? Thank you!"

Then he's gone.

	Windshear was a very new (inexperienced) Tetrajet when Optimus Prime and his crew left Cybertron and the Decepticon ship that followed. Not long after that, Windshear ended up off Cybertron and until recently had no contact with his home planet nor earth or his fellow Decepticons. After millennia of existence ranging in anything from gun-for-hire, to free trader, (and everything in between), he has finally made his way back.
