Decepticon aerospace has long been feared for their effectiveness. The most common among these forces are the Seekers--aerial specialists who excelled in performing seek and destroy missions. They come in all shapes and sizes, colors and abilities. Mainly used as the frontline combatants of the war, it's not completely unknown for them to become even higher commanders in the faction.
Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker were three of the prominent Seekers who came with Megatron to Earth, and were the first three 'flattop' Seekers; described as much because of the flat topped head they all had. The Seekers are the 'standard' Decepticon operatives, not just Decepticons with jet-style altmodes. Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet were the next three Seekers, these being 'coneheads'; because of the large construction pylon-like cone on their heads (think of the Coneheads from SNL).
